Picture Holidays – Day 12

Do you have someone in your life who is not related to you but might as well be?  I do.  And I was lucky enough to have her come for a much needed visit over the weekend.  We talk on the phone all the time and we always keep in touch, but it is not the same as being in the same room together. We shopped, went to a fancy dinner, got manis and pedis, cooked together, and laid around the couch and just talked.  It was the best weekend, filled with happiness and relaxation.

She is my biggest cheerleader and fan, and has listened to me cry on more than one occasion.  She has taken care of me when I really needed taking care of.  She will never know how much I love and respect her.  And just how much I wish that we lived closer.
